Dr. Linda Hankins

Dr. Hankins is a graduate of Oklahoma State University Veterinary School, class of 1996. She was raised in Illinois, moved to Oklahoma with her parents in the 1980's so decided to do her schooling in Oklahoma. She moved back to Illinois after graduation and worked as a mixed animal practitioner for 8 years before changing to small animal medicine. She has worked with shelters in the past to help with low cost spay / neuter clinics and shelter medicine, but missed the day to day of client and patient interactions. She has interests in geriatric medicine and preventative health in the younger animals.

She recently transferred to Danville Small Animal Clinic from Stateline Hillcrest Animal Hospital where she started in the fall of 2008.

Dr. Hankins has multiple pets of her own. She has cats that range in age from 15 years to 6 months. Her dog Bull is a rescue dog that she has had for 8 years.
